Victoria is a highly dedicated, experienced class one teacher with a passion for education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment. She employs hands-on activities and engaging experiments to make science come alive for her class one student. She focuses on developing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills while covering topics such as plants, animals, the human body, and the environment. She also uses a variety of interactive methods to improve her students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. She focuses on phonics, vocabulary development, grammar, and comprehension to ensure a strong foundation in language learning.
Understanding the significance of teaching values and ethics, Vivian actively teaches religious and moral education as a class teacher. Through stories, discussions, and activities, she fosters character development, empathy, and cultural understanding among her students. As a Ghanaian, she takes great pride in teaching the Ewe language to her students. She introduces the language's basic vocabulary, grammar, and cultural aspects, instilling a sense of appreciation for the country's linguistic diversity. She believes in making mathematics enjoyable and accessible for her class one student. Using manipulatives and visual aids, she emphasizes understanding of basic mathematical concepts such as number sense, patterns, shapes, and measurements.
Through dynamic teaching methods, Vivian brings history to life for her students. She covers topics such as Ghanaian culture, national heroes, and landmarks, fostering a sense of pride and identity among her young learners. In addition, she uses a multidisciplinary approach to teach Our World Our People, integrating geography, cultural diversity, and global citizenship. She exposes her students to different countries, customs, and traditions, cultivating an appreciation for diversity and fostering an international perspective.
Recognizing the importance of artistic expression, Vivian incorporates various mediums of creative arts into her curriculum. She encourages her students to explore their creativity through music, dance, drama, and visual arts, helping them develop their imagination and self-expression.
